After having my 3 children, I joined Stepping Stones as an assistant, trained to level 3 and became deputy. I then became the owner and manager. I have also studied through the Open University to complete a Foundation Degree.

I have owned and managed the pre school since 2008. Before this, I studied childcare at City College and then worked as a nanny in a family environment.

I love my job on a daily basis and enjoy offering a service to the community and working with an amazing team of staff. We all work towards enhancing each child's progress, development and knowledge to prepare them for their futures.

I started volunteering at Stepping Stones in 2021 after my 2 children attended and now am lucky enough to work here.

I have a Level 3 BTEC National Diploma in Early Years Education
and, until now, the majority of my working life has been within complex needs settings.

I am thoroughly enjoying my time at Stepping Stones and updating my skills in such a supportive environment.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my family and being
outdoors!

I am married with three children and live locally. I have been working in childcare (babies to teenagers) since 2000. I love working at Stepping Stones.

I joined Stepping Stones in November 2013 and am now deputy manager. I hold a Level 2 qualification in Childcare which I completed at Norwich City College in 2009. I then progressed to a National Level 3 diploma in Children and Young People's Workforce which I started and completed here at Stepping Stones.

My role includes being a key person for a group of children and looking after them when they come into the setting, helping them settle and making sure the environment is warm and welcoming for them. I also organise a range of fun and interesting activities through planning.

Away from work, I enjoy holidays to Cornwall and in my spare time enjoy going to the gym and spending time with family and friends.

I am proud to have been working at Stepping Stones since 2016, having brought with me over 20 years of experience working with children in educational environments.

My current qualification is an NVQ Level 2 certificate in Childcare.

My job is very rewarding and I believe in creating the happiest and most inspiring atmosphere for children to thrive and most importantly, have fun!

Outside work, I live locally with my family. I love spending time at home cooking, as well as
walking and swimming.
